In the years between his visits to the Antarctic, Edward Wilson worked as field observer for the Grouse Disease Inquiry, and also illustrated wildlife books. The present work makes available for the first time a selection of some 500 images from Edward Wilson's nature notebooks including drawings from his student years, the antarctic expedition, and his later illustrative work.
