Featuring Marcel Duchamp's statement Couers Volants (1936) front cover, Sweethearts is an iconic anagrammatic dialogue between a "he" and "she" whose erotic vocabulary finds origin in the word 'Sweethearts'. Written by a man at the very epicentre of the avant-garde collective of artists in 1960's New York and an individual committed to regenerating the definition of modern Art through concrete poetry, William's text is composed so as to be read backwards and is an erotic and daring reconfiguration of conventional poetic narrative with siginificant typographical impact.
