TOMALIN, H.F. Three Vagabonds in Friesland with Yacht & a Camera … with photographic Pictures by Arthur Marshall. London: Simpkin, Marshall, Hamilton, Kent & Co. Ltd. 1907.
Small 4to. Original illustrated unbleached cloth, map endpapers; pp. [xiii], 251, xxvi (appendix); frontispiece with tissue guards, numerous plates after photographs; cloth a little dulled, text with light spotting, spine with shelfmark in ink, ownership inscription to initial blank, a very good copy of a scarce work.
First edition. In the same year there was issued as well a limited edition, but this issue is decisively in the more attractive binding. This book documents a leisure tour with the author's entire family and the photographer through Dutch Friesland. He occasionally refers to Jungman's Holland, an equally beautiful book published by A. & C. Black.
