Nora Archibald Smith (1859-1934) was the sister of Kate Douglas Wiggins, the author of ~i~Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm". Both sisters were active in the Kindergarten Movement, at the turn of the twentieth century, and promoted Friedrich Frobel's theories on early years' education in their works.
