First Edition of Priestley's most acclamined novel and the winner of The James Tait Black Memorial Prize, as well as particularly unusual in regards to the amount of adaptations it has created. The author himself helped re-fashion it for the stage and as early as 1932 it was first filmed- prior to a Hollywood-style musical to follow in 1957.
