First published in 1796 or 1797, this is a great rarity among the literature of swordsmanship and fencing as a military discipline. The book by a member of Nott's Yeomanry Cavalry aims at improving skills and techniques used in combat and training. The regiment had been set up in 1794 as a response to the French Revolutionary Wars. The work was printed several times; all editions are very rare.
