First edition of this pioneering photography catalogue celebrating the female body.

Issued to coincide with the first International Salon of Nude Photography held in Paris in 1933, this catalogue features a selection of female nudes curated by Masclet on the grounds of artistic and technical impression. Included are contributions from Man Ray, such as his Violon d’Ingres and ‘Solarizations’, and works by fashion photographer Yva (an influence to a young Helmut Newton), E. O. Hoppé, and Moholy-Nagy.
