Sotheran’s are delighted to present a suite of twenty photographs by John Ingham, documenting critical early Punk performances in late 1976 and early 1977. Taken almost exactly fifty years ago, these works are now being exhibited for the first time. The presentation collates some of the most intimate and striking photographs of the first violent outburst of the Punk movement in London. Taken over four nights, these photographs are some of the only visual documentation, and the only known photographs in colour, of crucial performances that helped to define the London Punk movement.
