Oblong small 4to. Original illustrated paper wrapper; pp. 60; with numerous black and white and sepia photographs in the text; some tears and spotting to the wrapper; with light spotting elsewhere in the text; a good copy of this scarce work.
First edition. Seemingly part of a series titled The Italian Fleet in the European War, with other titles including Guido Milanesi's The Silent Adriatic, Mario Sobrero's Our Battle Fleet, Paolo Giordani's For the Serbian Army, and Emilio Ferrando's The Civil Government at Grado Redenta. This is the most scarce volume in the set, being unrecorded in the libraries holding the other volumes.
