The third in the famous Tarzan series, The Beasts of Tarzan follows the adventures of classic protagonist Tarzan, with this chapter of the story beginning after the birth of Tarzan and Jane's first son Jack. At the time of Burroughs death, he was rumoured to have been the writer who had secured the largest fortune from film. He had supposedly earned over $2million in royalties from the 27 Tarazan films that had been produced in his lifetime.
