The building which was originally a nineteenth Century mansion opened as an hotel in 1923. It was located in the "Golden Triangle," just a few steps from Avenue Montagne. It is a small luxury and exclusive hotel and has included guests such as Lauren Bacall, Gene Kelly and Romy Schneider.
This label which is in the art deco style was designed by Duperre.
Duperre was a school of applied arts in Paris which participated in the Exposition Internationale Des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Moderns in 1925 Paris.
The label was exhibited in the French pavillion at the exhibition.
Printed by H. Chachoin Imp Paris who were a prominent Parisian printer known for producing numerous significant art deco posters and other works on paper.
