Recollections May Vary / An Exhibition at CASSIUS&Co.
Sotheran’s, in partnership with CASSIUS&Co., is pleased to announce Recollections May Vary, a new exhibition about the art market in London in the early 1990s and now. Organised in collaboration with William Ling, Recollections May Vary brings together his collection of rare books and ephemera from the London art scene of the 1990s with paintings and works on paper by eight young artists currently living and working in London.
Two fully illustrated catalogues will be published alongside the exhibition, one documenting the contemporary works and another dedicated to the rare books and ephemera. The latter is annotated with anecdotes, recollections and reflections written by William Ling to add context and colour. Ling’s short-lived gallery, Bipasha Ghosh, was active in the early Nineties and gave early solo shows to a number of key artists from the period.
The exhibition opens on Thursday 1st October 2026, 6-8pm, at CASSIUS&Co., 63 Kinnerton Street, London, SW1X 8ED. All are welcome!
