WODEHOUSE, P.G. Biffen's Millions. New York: Simon and Schuster. 1964.

8vo. Publisher’s quarter red cloth over yellow cloth boards, lettered and decorated in black to upper board and spine (with the author’s name misspelt to the spine as ‘P.J. Wodehouse’ as called for by McIlvaine), top-edge black, illustrated dust-jacket by John Alcorn with printed price of $4.50 to front flap; pp. 222, [2 (blank)]; a little sunning to spine, otherwise bright, corners lightly bumped, a few spots to fore-edge of textblock; near fine.

First edition, first printing of Wodehouse’s novel set in the publishing world, featuring the return of Percy Pilbeam and Monty Bodkin.

Biffen stands to inherit millions from his grandfather, provided he avoids arrest before his thirtieth birthday. The fortune will otherwise pass to the publishing magnate Lord Tilbury, setting in motion a series of complications involving the familiar casts of Wodehouse characters.

The novel was published in the UK a month later under the alternative title Frozen Assets.
