[WEAVER, Mike et al., editors]. Form No. 4: Brighton Festival Exhibition of Concrete Poetry: notes, map Cambridge: Phillip Steadman.1967.

Cover image designed by Josef Albers (Sanctuary, Lithograph 1942); Saddle-stapled with glossy black and white wrappers; pp.[ii], 30 [+1 publishers ads]; small closed tear to front cover and slight discolouration with natural age toning to text block, otherwise near fine.
Form was edited by Mike Weaver, Phillip Steadman and Stephen Barr from 1966-1968. Phillip Steadman designed and published all ten of the, mostly quarterly, issues. The name of the magazine reflects the purpose of its content; that of investigating and countering conventional arts through the production of priamrily kinetic and concrete poetry.
This issue number 4 features articles on the Black Mountain College as well as the Brighton Festival Exhibition devoted to Concrete Poetry, curated by Stephen Barr himself. It also includes 'Manifesto on the Lawfullness of Sound' by Raoul Hausmann, one of the most crucial figures in the Dada movement in Berlin.
