DE BELLEROCHE, William. Brangwyn Talks. London: Chapman & Hall Ltd, 1944.

Royal 8vo., publisher's pale yellow cloth, contrasting black leather labels ruled and lettered in gilt to upper board and spine, lettered in gilt to foot; in the original dust jacket featuring an image of the artist; pp. [viii], ix-xix, [i], 181, [i]; with frontis self-portrait and a further 23 images on glossy paper, as well as headpieces; a few light marks to boards, corners a touch pushed inwards; aside from some light spots a very good copy, the jacket good only, scratched and shelf-worn with some dirtying to the lower panel, nicks and closed tears to edges; a large portion of loss to the lower panel; still, seldom found at all.
First limited edition, one of just 500 copies, this no. 194. The pen-and-ink sketches by Brangwyn are reproduced from letters written to the author, initially never intended for publication, but "this great artist [has] overcome his natural modesty and allow[ed] them to be reproduced".
