The hotel has a history spanning nearly 150 years, beginning with the construction of two residential buildings in 1871. It evolved into a boarding house in 1875 and then into the hotel Beau-Sejour with a four storey extension in 1905.
The Gambelli family purchased the hotel in 1905, recognizing its potential in the developing of Saint Raphael.
