DURAZZI, Alberto. The Rolling Stones, Rome, 1970. Rome: Agenzia Dufoto. 1970.

12 x 9.5 inch gelatin silver print, with Agenzia Dufoto stamp and handwritten caption to reverse. Durazzi took a number of photos of the Rolling Stones at this concert on 29th September 1970 at the Palazzo Dello Sport in Rome as part of their European tour. This rare and unpublished image is a great shot of Keith playing his famous transparent Perspex guitar, an Ampeg Dan Armstring, since stolen.

Durazzi (1925-1990) also known as Aldo Durazzo, was born in Milan. He worked for Gazzetta dello Sport and the agency Farabola. After moving to Rome, he founded Agenzia Dufoto in 1956 on Via del Corso and became known as a chronicler of the great and good.
