The book feautres portraits of some of the principal characters in the genre defying movement such as Jack Kerouac, Neal Cassady, Gregory Corso and Timothy Leary, to name but a few. Each photo is annotated with an intimate description of its personal history in facsimile of Ginsberg's hand.
