A nice set of the two most complementary books in Clavell's Asian Saga. Shogun, an epic saga of seventeenth century Japan and its relationship with the West was a huge hit in its time and has recently been revived in an Emmy award-winning 2024 TV miniseries. Noble House continues these themes. It is set in 1963 Hong Kong and follows the operations of Struan's, the great trading company known as the "Noble House of Asia". In 1988, it was adapted into a television miniseries starring Pierce Brosnan.
