The deluxe issue, superbly bound by Gray Parrott of Maine, includes an illustrated essay on Camp Upsalquitch, reproducing 8 photographs of Capt. Sweny’s camp on the Restigouche, circa 1882, near the camp of his friend, Dean Sage, a fellow resident of Albany, who would later write The Ristigouche and Its Salmon Fishing (1888). Three facsimiles of items in the collection accompany the essay, which was printed at the Ascencius Press.
