First edition. Harry Stürmer was correspondent for the 'Kölnische Zeitung' in Turkey from 1915 to 1916. He gathered eyewitness accounts of the atrocities. This book could not be published in Germany and the German authorities tried to prevent translations by buying the translation copyright; however, it appeared in 1917 as Sketches of German and Young Turkish Ethics and Politics and is rather scarce as well.
