First edition, third printing, nowadays hard to find in good condition. This is Freya Stark's second book, the result of her travels in 'wildest Persia', furnished with good maps and plates after photos taken by the traveller/author herself. Freya Stark travelled the dangerous mountain teritory of the Iran-Iraq border, and Lurestan province.
