RENDEL, PALMER & TRITTON. The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Jordan-Hedjaz Railway. Consulting Engineers' Report. London, December 1954.
Folio. Original two-tone cloth, lettered in black; pp. [2], x, 158, li, a few maps, tables and plates in the text part, 3 leaves of plates with 20 photographic illustrations, two large folding hand-coloured maps on tracing paper, 7 further folding maps and plans, separated by numbered tabs protruding from green card stock; very light rubbing to extremities, a very good copy with 'withdrawn' stamp on front fly-leaf.
Very rare report by the engineers tasked with surveying possible routes for the extension of the Hejaz railway from the railhead at Naqb Ashtar to the Port of Aqaba. A lot of the territory surveyed is old T.E. Lawrence stomping and blasting ground.
