Featuring intricate floral text borders and vivid color illustrations throughout, this special edition beautifully captures the delicate essence of Morris's verse. As the gilt tooling of 'G. B. J.' on the volume's boards alludes to, Morris produced this work for the important artist and pre-Raphaelite Georgiana Burne-Jones.
