MORRIS, James. Destinations. Essays from Rolling Stone. OUP, 1980.
8vo. Original cloth with illustrated dust-wrapper; pp. [x], 242, a few illustrations after photographs; a very good copy.
First edition, first printing, flat-signed by the author on title-page of these collected contributions to Rolling Stone magazine. The fact that OUP accepted to publish articles published by an American periodical with the reputation of being an unorthodox, almost counter-cultural voice shows the clout Jan Morris had in the publishing industry.
