Robert Menot was a French designer and artist who concentrated on designing posters and illustrations for books.
He opened his studio in Grenoble where he would design illustrations for many companies and organisations, including Air France, Tessier and Royal Pathe (Cinema).
In 1925 he won a gold medal at The Decorative Arts exhibition in Paris. Between 1932-38 The Federation of Tourist information centres asked Robert to produce some fifteen colour covers for regional tourist albums.
