The British Library has a copy, published 1856. Not much is widely available on the original text or author. A short pamphlet detailing Egypt's importance and central position in the Ancient World. 'Egypt, to the historian and the antiquary, is one of the most interesting and wonderful of all countries. Its monumental relics, in their number, magnitude, and splendour, as also in the vast amount of information they convey, far exceed those of any region' (p. 1). The Working Men's Educational Union sold as well pictorial wall charts for teaching the history of the country.
