First edition, second printing, only one month after the first, inscribed and signed by the deputy leader of the expedition, Sir Charles Evans on half-title. An account of the greatest mountaineering feat of the 20th century by the leader of the expedition. Mike Westmacott was the self-deprecating, but immensely resourceful and important mountaineer of the Everest team. Lowe, member of the team as well made an award-winning documntary film of the expedition. - Evans was not as keen as other members of the expedition to sign books.
