A compendium of magical tricks and baffling illusions from Angelo John Lewis, who used the pseudonym Professor Hoffman to publish his works on stage magic. Originally published in 1918, this edition contains a number of drawings and diagrams to aid in execution of tricks such as "The Bottomless Tumbler," "The Celluloid Egg," and "The Mesmerized Hat." One of Hoffman's later books, it comprises over 500 pages of his most sophisicated illusions.
