One of the principal figures of the Black Mountain movement, Eigner's poems are resplendant with the everyday, a voice reminiscent of William Carlos Williams. His writing frequently appeared in the journal L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E, influential amoungst the school of Language Poets such as Bernadette Mayer.
