Folio., black morocco binding, lettered in red and gilt to the upper board, with a balsa wooden panel with shotgun shots by Burroughs; decorated and textured red endpapers; pp. [xl]; printed in full colour throughout, with seven woodblock screenprints by Burroughs depicting each of the sins; fine, housed in the original publisher's cardboard box.
Limited to just 150 copies, signed and dated by Burroughs to the title (1992) and hand-numbered - this is copy 60/150.
Each depiction of the sins is a work of art created by Burroughs using his 12 gauge shotgun, and a photograph of the artist holding the gun is present to p. [iii]. They were created in 1991, and the text written between February and July of the same year. The wooden "shotgun" piece is unique to each copy of the book.
