First edition, the version with the author's name on the title-page (priority not established). One of the most harrowing naval disasters of the 18th century, ensuing shipwreck on a remote island, mutiny and extreme hardship and survival through determination and resilience, told by the two leading mutineers themselves. At the moment of cataloguing Martin Scorsese is turning this story into a movie.
