BOND, G. A Brief Account of the Colony of Port Jackson, in New South Wales; Its Native Inhabitants, Productions, &c &c Edition Renard, Melbourne, 2005.
Limited Edition. Original wrappers, paper label to upper cover; pp. [vi], 42; new.
Edition limited to 100 numbered copies for sale. First published in 1803, Bond's account of Port Jackson is one of the scarcer books relating to the fledgling colony under Governor Hunter. Although very popular in its day (it went through 7 edition), it has not been republished since 1810. This new edition offers a faithful facsimile of the 1803 first edition, together with the additions and corrections of subsequent editions. Finely printed, it makes an attractive addition to any library.
