Scarce first edition of this work on the Australian-born legendary aviation pioneer. Sidney Cotton began flying n 1914 and in the 1920s pioneered airmail and aerial surveys in Newfoundland. During WWII Cotton worked on photographic reconnaissance. In 1916 he had invented the Sidcot flying suit.
