The Hotel located a short distance from the Champs-Elysees has belonged to the Vuitton family since the end of the Nineteenth Century. In 1922 however with the advent of Art Deco they decided to change the look of the Hotel. A new marble façade and glass canopy were added to the exterior and Art Deco interiors were introduced.

A label like this one was exhibited in the tourism pavillion at the exhibition between April and October 1925. The layout of the exhibition covered 72 acres and the main entrance was at Place de La Concorde. Two thirds of exhibits were French.
