Sole edition, very rare, of this Maoist Propaganda portfolio. This collection of propaganda photos is documenting the progress of the new China, but as well the care taken for tradional crafts by the leadership. Often referred to as Madame Sun Yat-sen or 'mother of modern China,' Soong Ching-ling held leading positions in Mao's China after 1949 and was largely responsible for the publication and dissemination of propaganda and reports of the emerging new China.
