Very rare first edition, one of 500 copies of this documentation of the archaeological highlights in the museum, newly photographed and properly assessed by the eminent Kuwaiti anthropologist, archaeologist, collector and historian. Ashkanani chose 390 important items ranging from the stone age through the bronze age, Hellenistic period, to Chrsitian and Islamic heritage. Each chapter begins with an introductory essay on the period represented by objects from the museum. This particular copy is inscribed by the author.
