Showing a paumier (Real Tennis player) watching a game on his court which is in the background. There appear to be a lot of people playing but three or even four aside was not unknown at this time.
With inscription at top in Latin "Pilam juvat ingeminare volantem," translated to read: it helps to double the flying ball.
