Uncommon first edition of this collection of essays, political and economic on the history and prospects of settlement in Eretz Yisrael. The womens' rights activist Millicent Fawcett gives her Impressions of two short Visits to Palestine, in 1921 and 1922, where she describes flourishing agricultural settlements and Tel Aviv as a well-organized tent camp. She then speculates about the future of co-existence of Jews and Arabs. Chaim Weizmann lays out the project for Jerusalem University, and how 'Jewish' it will be.
