Lewis Carroll's “excellent piece of nonsense”, presented here in a Swedish translation, is whimsically illustrated by Tove Jansson. Although Jansson was best known for her Moomin stories, she worked as an artist long before her loveable characters brought her fame. Alice I Underlandet was published twenty-one years after her first Moomin book, and the illustrations showcase Jansson’s typical charming style.
