16 x 12 inch gelatin silver print, with Agenzia Dufoto stamp and handwritten caption to reverse. Durazzi took a number of well-known photographs of the Stones on this photoshoot in London, but we have not been able to find any other examples of this shot in which Mick and Bill stare out the camera.
Durazzi (1925-90) also known as Aldo Durazzo, was born in Milan. He worked for Gazzetta dello Sport and the agency Farabola. After moving to Rome, he founded Agenzia Dufoto in 1956 on Via del Corso and became known as a chronicler of the great and good.
