First edition, signed by the author. The story of Elric of Melniboné and his cursed demon sword is highly influential in the development of the fantasy genre, and the early books in this series are equally hard to come by in their first printings. Stormbringer is a compliation and "fix-up" of four previously published stories from 1963 and 1964, which in this context means the stories were stitched together into a new narrative. The Elric series is generally considered to be Moorcock's best known work.
