The medical profession has been in the spotlight more than ever over the last year and we have all come to appreciate the years of learning and research that have gone into the expertise of doctors and nurses. Medical research goes back over many centuries and though there are plenty of remedies that nobody would attempt now, there is valuable wisdom that has survived the ages.
