WINTER, Emil [artist]. Relief-Panorama des Rheines. Cologne, Hoursch & Bechstedt, c. 1930.
Colour-printed concertina-folded birds-eye view panorama of the Rhine from Cologne to Mainz, c. 150 by 22 cm; folding back into the original card wrappers; well preserved.
The artist is actually the Russian-born landscape painter Nikolai Lvovich Astudin (1848-1925) who used this inconspicuous pseudonym for his commercial work. He lived in the Phineland from about 1904.
