Uncommon first edition of this regimental history telling the story of the Macedonian front (Salonika Campaign) between Lake Dojran and Lake Ardzan (now dry and replaced by a reservoir). In October 1915 the British and French had landed in Salonika at the request of the Greek Prime Minister. The regiment saw heavy fighting against the Bulgarians around Doiran in September 1917.
