Scarce first edition of this account of the Battle of the Falkands on the 8th of December 1914, which resulted in the sinking of the Gneisenau and the Scharnhorst, together with later recollctions of Commander Rudolf Henry Cole Verner's naval career, which ended with his death at the Dardanelles in March 1915.
