First edition. The printrun was a bit smaller than usual, only 2000 copies, and many books where put into school prize bindings. Inman points out that by November 1909 '1,000 copies had been printed and 500 of these made ready for sale … In 1910 the remaining 200 copies were bought back from Luxmore [Eton housemaster] for £50 (a strangely high figure) with an agreement that they should not be used without his consent' (pp. 71f).
