Lithographic folding map with hand-colouring in green, lilac and blue, yallow and red disected into 20 segments, folding back into the original publisher's folder with printed titel label on front cover; tiny pinhole through corner of front cover and one segmentonly light rubbing to folder, the map itself very good.
Measuring 68 by 57 cm, this detailed and wide-ranging map was published just after the British had taken control of Egypt, and to illustrate the early stages of the Mahdist War (1881-99).
