SHAW, BERNARD The League of Nations. London: The Fabian Society, 1929.
8vo. 21 x 14cm pamphlet. Pp.11 [i] with last page comprised of advertisments for Fabian Publications. Some marks and age toning. Staple has caused rust marks to interior crease and has then been lost, meaning that all pages are loose. Otherwise very good.
Shaw attended a League of Nations meeting in Geneva in 1928 and comments on various aspects of the League. The following statement is the only one which appears in bold : 'The really great thing that is happening at Geneva is the growth of a genuinely international public service, the chiefs of which are ministers in a coalition which is, in effect, an incipient international Government.'
