Net); containing a frontis and a further 80 black and white photographs of performers in action; pp. [xii], 80; the board perhaps a touch rubbed, and some smudges/finger marks; jacket with some large chips, closed tears, and internal tape repairs.
A wonderful collection of evocative images from the photographer Merlyn Severn, whose images also appeared in Ballet in Action. Some of the images from 'The Sleeping Beauty' were originally taken for Picture Post, and those of 'Symphonic Variations' were taken with a green filter. All were taken during performances.
